case for earbuds [Archive]

Has anyone come across a case that has a spot for the earbuds? I mean -when you want to put them back in your purse or bag or whatever and don't want the wires all kinked and tangled up? I've got an old soft fabric glasses case -I wrap the ear bud wires around the iPod and put it in the case, but I'm thinking there's a better way?

I have a pair of Sony earbuds that came with a winding case, so I decided to remove the sony earbuds and put the ipod ones in the case instead. It works fine. http://www.radiodirectory.com/usstoreproductsB00008VF63.html

Yea, the winding case would have been the ticket. Are the Apple ear buds better than the Sonys? The Apple ones are too big for my ears so I have to get either the adaptor things or new ear buds.

the marware ceo case has a spot for the buds in the lid
or you could consider shures nice zipper case

I store my Sony EX71s in my Timbuk2 case along with my 40 gigger. It has a separate pocket for earbuds.

i had some shures for a while but they didn't fit right and were a bit to bulky for me so i went back to my MDRs (soooo comfortable for me) - i really miss the nice shure zipper case though and i abhor the sony plastic one - anyone know of a nice after market case for earbuds?? something winding like the shure zipper case?

You can buy the shure case off of their website I think it was about $15.00.
