Could anyone provide me with some info on the JVC Gumy earbuds? How do they sound?

Yup, I use these in black with my iPod Shuffle.

They are low-range buds that manage to sound quite good (I prefer them to stock headphones).

The material is, as aptly designed by the name, gummy. They are quite comfortable to my ears but they fall out sometimes. The cord is white and gummy, if you look closely you can see through the red (for right) and blue (for left) cables inside.

According to the specs, they have good frequency range. And the lowest impedance I could find (8 ohm), so whatever you connect them to you won't have to push the volume much up.

Cons: the cord gets entangled easily. Keep it neatly tidied when not in use.
They cause me fatigue after hearing them for a long time, probably because the high frequencies are quite loud.

Got my Victor JVC HP-FX55 Gummy Phones from warehouse123.com yesterday and I must say WOW. Im VERY impressed. I have listened to my freind's 71 and is really no match againest the HP-FX55. Im in the process of burning them in but right out the box they are amazing. It has a deep rich sound and with enough bass that is so pleasing to the ears. Has very warm sounds and I love them. Best money I have spent yet.

i just got mine from audiocubes and am not too impressed. the highs and mids have impressive clarity but there is far too much fidgeting required to get a good fit in order to gain the low freqencies - hence it is mostly shrill. I amy sell 'em and just spring for some E2C's or the equiv.
