If they arrived that way out of the box, then whoever you bought them from have to, by law, give you a replacement or a refund. They are faulty goods.
Threaten to report them to trade descriptions if they don't cough up.

#### Amazon. They sold the goods, they are responsible for the refund. Fight fight fight!

Hit-em-up don't return for a refund, it is very hard. Instead, say you want to exchange it, amazon probably will do that.

I don't like the ones I got. The right earbud cord is short and the left is long. There's some knot thing there for some reason. It hangs funky.

Johnny, the cord connected to the right earbud is meant to be behind your neck.

Ah hah! I see. I looked at the package it came it but I couldn't see the illustration until I looked at it with a magnifying glass (I need reading glasses) Yeah it's a little more comfy now. Thanks.

update: the other side started doing the same thing, so i emailed amazon, they said contact sony
so i wrote a letter to sony saying that its a defective product, and that they can see how the hole started by looking at the right earbud. sent them to sony w/insurance, so theyre gonna have to sign for em. hopefully theyll send me new ones, but well see....
