has anyone had a problem with a ALi usb 2.0 pci card? everytime i plug in my ipod, it reconizes it as something else and then freezes. is there anyway to fix this? my old usb 1.0 works fine but im not gonna use it to copy music, cause it will take wayyyyyyy to long. any help will be awesome.

Same problem here. Same pci usb card driver. To be honest, I don't think there is any other solution than buying another card. Apple suggests Belkin cards so I'll try to grab one somewhere tomorrow, or some usb 2.0 hub.
It seems a lot of people have this problem and so far I havent seen any solution. I spent hours trying many things but without any success...
