I bought the Neo Ipod Car Adapter for my 2005 Toyota Corolla. I also needed the adapter cable from Toyota. I went to Best Buy and had it installed. Im having some problems and am curious as to if anyone else has had problems. Sometimes, it skips and I dont mean when the car is moving. When the car is sitting. I removed the ipod from the car and listened to it with headphones and it did not skip at all. Second, the display always shows the song time going from 1:00 to 2:00. It just keeps flashing. And third, sometimes even though it changes songs, it wont stays on track 16. One more thing. Sometimes you can see the ipod playing but no sound is coming through. I would appreciate any input. I paid a lot for this cable and if it's not going to work I want my money back. Ive emailed Neo support but no replay yet. Thanks.

I am having the problem of the display flashing between 1 and 2 as described above.

Also, I can not switch between songs, albums using the controls on the headunit (Toyota factory 6-disc in-dash CD player).

Any clues?

The iPod is not a real CD Changer, so don't expect your car stereo to have an accurate display. I have the Dension ICE Link, which is the same concept as the Neo. My stereo says Disc 1 Track 1. Continuous playback remains on the same track (the display only) because the iPod cannot communicate with the stereo that the tracks are advancing.

I cannot comment on the constant skipping...you should contact Neo for troubleshooting your problems. Best Buy would not be my first choice for any car stereo installation, especially an iPod connection kit since they don't sell them.
