I tried charging my 3G 15gb Ipod and it often shows the apple icon and blink constantly... Many times it dissapears when charging it through the wall charger. I have used this Ipod before and it worked fine until I left it for a few months unused with some charge still in it. Now that I have tried to use it the apple icon blinks a lot and disappears sometimes. I use the reset method by switching hold off and on and then holding the play and menu buttons down. After this it resets though when I try to connect it to my computer it cannot read the ipod. I've tried the firewire port (4pin) and the usb (it recognizes it but not has a hard drive and then says that the device may have malfunctioned).
Please anyone have any suggestions? I hope that the Ipod isn't dead because a few months before I was using it no problem. Thanks
