exo3 case for 30GB ipod photo options

Has anyone tried using the 20GB 4G exo3 case with the 30GB ipod photo yet? I don't know how stretchy the material is but if it does work then I expect it to be a very tight fit- which is exactly what I want.

Also, I want to add that when I first started case hunting, I was drawn to the clear iCondom/pod shield film type cases, but I found out that they seem to be a waste since they still leave the front exposed.
I really hoping to find a completely transparent version of the exo3 since I want to preserve my iPod's look and feel as much as possible. I nix all thick silicone cases since have an extremeMac 40GB 4g silicone case currently (for my previous ipod that I returned for my new 30GB photo :D), but its too baggy and the silicone is way too thick to preserve the feel of the iPod. So it seems that short of wrapping the damn thing in saran wrap and using a hair dryer to shrink wrap it, I'm left with the exo3 as the way to go.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated :)

I was thinking the same thing as I just bought a 30gb photo and remembered how the 20gb ones did not fit right and had the "loose" skin so I would think the 20gb skin would be perfect for the 30gb.... ;)

For now I have a transperent film that covers the ipod front and back but leaves the 4 corners pretty unprotected .. :(

You have a film that covers the front also (screen + white part + wheel)? Could you please tell me where you got it? That's sort of what I'm after... The pod shield thing covers the back pretty well but I think it wraps around the front a bit for a better hold. I'm wondering whether the film you have is like that, and overlaps the front piece with the back or they are seperate so they don't overlap. It would be good if they don't but neverheless it sure makes me curious to investigate! :)

Well, I decided to take the plunge and order an exo3 20 GB case for my 30GB photo which arrived today and I must say that I am very pleased :D.

The fit is very snug and adds very little in terms of bulk to my iPod. I heard somewhere that some people were complaining that the case was too baggy. In my case I don't think there is any air between the case and the iPod since it was made for a smaller iPod.

The only gripe that I have with it is that the dock connector opening is a tad off center (not surprising again since it was made for the 20GB which is slimmer). However the functionality is the same; i.e. I can still plug in the connector and it fits without any struggle.

I'll try to post some pics if anybody is interested on what it looks like.

I got a Exo3 today for my iPod Photo 30gb and it's perfect.

One of the sales guys sold me the 40/60gb (old) Photo one saying it would fit.


I went outside and tried it one and it was loose as!

So I went back in and got the 20gb one (they only had La Rogue which is red :( ) and it fits perfectly!!

But it's only temporary until I get a Contour Design Showcase + 3D Click Wheel Cover for it!
