Problem 1 - Just recently, iTunes started locking my computer up when I tried to rip a CD. I thought it might be my CDROM, so I tried to rip the files in Winodows Media Player, and it worked fine.
Problem 2 - When I do manage to rip a CD, after I've updated my iPod, it skips through the entire CD after I play the first song, or if I try to skip to another song.
Problem 3 - Now iTunes won't recognize my iPod. I windows dialogue pops up asking me what I want to do out of these two choices: Manage the device using Real Media Player, or take no action.
I'm about ready to smash the **** out of this thing. On the upside, if I can't fix it, I can take it back to Best Buy and get my second free iPod if Apple can't fix it.
