What cases would you reccomend for a 4GB Silver iPod Mini? I'm considering the iSkin and the Speck Products Mini FlipStand. What would you guys reccomend? I plan to buy my case at the Apple Store at the Mall Of America, so I need a case I can buy there.

i'd get a marware case, they are all well made and keep your ipod safe. go to www.marware.com. I have a Sportsuit Sleeve, a neoprene case (well i am a diver) and my ipod is spotless.

I've bought an iSkin and I don't like it at all. Too bulky and "dirty" looking. I only want to protect my Mini from scratches therefore I would recommend an xRap or a skin from DecalGirl.com. Both are very good quality solutions to prevent scratches with no added bulk, but don't have much or any drop protection. I currently have a skin from decalgirl which is absolutely wonderful.

I just got an iPod mini, and also was looking for any case recommendations.

The iSkin looks good, but it's not leather (I'd prefer a leather case). Does anyone have a specific recommendation on a leather case for an iPod mini?

Without a doubt I'd go with the Speck flip stand. I checked out ALOT of cases and skins and decided on the Speck because of one reason = PROTECTION. It completely protects the mini. A skin or decal won't help much if your drop your mini; the Speck will. It's not perfect -- when you open up the click wheel cover to charge or sync, the unit sorta lays on the desk funny -- buts its closer to perfect than anything else I could find. One great feature I did not think I'd need or like IS is the stand; I take my mini to work, sit it up on its stand and plug in my computers speakers and play my music instead of listening to my bosses.
I'd buy another Speck tomorrow.

BTW .. you still end you touching the click wheel and sooner or later getting it dirty. I ended up cutting a Palm screen protector into a circle circle and putting it onto the click wheel and now my mini is 100% protected 100% of the time.

I love my Belkin (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=2062&pcount=&Product_Id=184155) hard case.

i bought an ebony colored iskin. ive found that it attracts an insane amount of lint. after you find some way to get rid of the lint, it comes back after a small amount of time. the Speck is better than the iskin and it is a considerable amount smaller than the iskin.

I use a pink iPod sock for carrying it about and then a Marware pink sportsuit convertible for when I am running/biking. Both are excellent and easily obtainable slightly cheaper than normal at EBay.:D
