Hunting around, it seems the dimensions for the iPod Photo 40 and 60 are the same as the old 40 Click Wheel. Am I mistaken?

If this is the case, either should fit the iSee 40 case, which is one of the best I've seen. I bought one for my 20 Click Wheel and loved it, but now I'm upgrading to a Photo and hope to use an iSee 40 if at all possible.

Can anyone confirm my size assumption since I don't have unlimited resources to purchase and compare all the different versions? Or has anyone tried this solution?

Wrong. The iPod photo 60GB *IS* larger then the iPod 40GB or the iPod 40GBPhoto. I dont know the size of the iPod 40GB, but, I dont think contour makes a case for the photo.

joshjellel, the 40GB & 60GB iPod photos are the same size. The 30GB iPod photo is slightly thicker than the 20GB 4G iPod. The 40 & 60GB iPod photos are slightly thicker than the 40GB 4G iPod. According to the Contour Design website the iSee is not iPod photo compatible (http://www.contourdesign.com/isee/isee-20.html).

Unlike the softer silicon/rubber/fabric cases which have some 'stretch', the iSee is a 'solid plastic' hardcase. I would not recommend trying to force the iPod into the case, you could damage the case and/or iPod. That said, I have read posts of iPodloungers using the iSee 40 with their 30GB photos. It is not a 'perfect fit', but it seems to work for them.

We may all just have to wait to find out if Contour will release a iSee photo range. Cheers.
