Hi all!

As many of you noted, Countour Design are charging around 36$ for shipping in Canada without noticing customers. First, let me say thanks for the info.

If you visit this page, Contour now lists Canadian retailers for their iPod accessories product line.

http://www.contourdesign.com/showcase/sh-case-wtb-can-dealers.htm

I am in Quebec, so I chose the most renown retailer in the list(WestWorld.ca), mainly because I wanted to save on long-distance charges (they have a toll free number) and get my case as soon as possible.

I called five minutes ago and they will ship the case (4G showcase, black) today for 39.99$CDN + 10$ shipping charge. Great price if you consider that Contour charges $32.95 US + $36 shipping charges. The sales rep I spoke with was very kind and made sure he was sending me the right product. The case is expected to arrive here in 2-4 days, but I didnt think of asking him what was the shipping method used.

After looking at all the reviews and opinions about iPod cases, I decided to go with the Showcase for many reasons:

1- Possibility to get the get the iPod in and out of the case very easily wich is not the case with a skin. I don't want to transform my iPod, just to have protection when needed.

2- Nice look

3- Direct access to click wheel

4- Very protective (except for the click wheel, of course)

5- No "attracts lint, dust and hair" issue.

Ordering in Canada at this price makes it the best choice for a case in my opinion.

Now if my iPod could arrive... Been waiting for 3 weeks.

Jet_Pilot, congrats on your new case. I have two Showcases and for regular 'dockers' it is the easiest case to use. Good CAD$ price too! In Australia the Showcases are AUD$65+ each.

If you really want click wheel protection too, have a look at these:
Power Support 3D Wheel Film (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_m...id=6193_0_6_0_M)
iPoDonut Click Wheel Protector and Screen Film (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_m...id=5150_0_6_0_M)
Power Support Crystal Film and Wheel Film (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_m...id=4713_0_6_0_M)
Cheers.

It's a great case. I am more than pleased with mine. I went for the black version as the white seemed to pick up dirt easily - the well handled white 4G Showcase at MWSF certainly did! It is a doddle to get the iPod out of the case for whatever reason and with the addition of a clickwheel cover (iPoDonut) provides more than enough protection.

Thanks for infos! Is the ipodonut really white when not glowing in the dark?

I really wish I could find a black click wheel protector to match with the black Contour Showcase. But then again, if the ipodonut is white in daylight, it should look better than a grey click wheel.

Any ideas where I could find a black (or other plain color) click wheel protector?
