I have a 30 right now but since I started with a 20, had it break and get replaced with another 20, had that one break an get replaced with a 30 and then had THAT one break and get replaced by another 30 I suspect it won't be long before this one goes down too and I end up with a 40.

waited just over a month to get it with personalised engraving, then a month later they announce a 40 gig model

I guess the 3G/20GB will be the new sweet spot instead of the 15 since the price change.

Does your iPod have 4 buttons on the top or the 4 buttons surrounding the scroller?

I have both the 5GB (Original scroll wheel) and the 15GB (3rd Generation) and love them both. I'll continue supporting the iPod. My favorite piece of technology for the past 2 years.

I use the 5GB for Audible books and the 15GB for my music.
