I'm looking for better ways to communicate with my employees and customers. It seems like podcasting might be an interesting option. Has anybody heard of this being used as a business communications tool? Thanks!

That's a very interesting idea. I'm assuming this is a large company? If it was and you had employees at various locations around the country or globe I think it would be a great way. More personal then an e-mail and not that much harder to produce.
I'd be curious if anyone was already doing it or not.

Yes, the podcast business model would need to reach hundreds of employees and/or customers in many locations, some international. I'd like to know of any other companies who are doing this and how it's working. Thanks!

Adam Curry, who does Daily Source Code, happens to sell coffee makers and often mentions it in his podcasts. As a result, he's managed to sell some with very little effort. Thus, I believe there is a possible use of podcasting without sounding like an informercial.
Food for thought.
