How is that possible if the front and back of the iPs is not covered with their so-called "crack resistant" silicone? The only thing the "case" protects are the sides. Do they think that iPod users wouldn't notice that their product claims are ridiculous? Gimme a break.

They just say it will 'shield' your shuffle, not make it indestructable.

If you want to order one, you can choose US Priority mail as an option for the time being. It comes out to about $3-$5 depending on your location. Not much we can do about the rates, we charge only what we are charged for the shipping, we don't add in "handling" fees or anything like that.
Please contact me if you have further concerns or questions regarding shipping. I don't want that to be a deciding factor...

I could swear company representatives aren't aloud to post on this forum advertising or promoting their products...
I was not promoting any products, as a matter of fact I did not even mention a product by name, I was simply clarifying an issue regarding shipping costs. But thank you for your concern! It is good to know there are people out there looking out for the welfare of their fellow loungers!
We are not allowed to promote our own products and I for one adhere to that rule religiously.

Is the back of the case open like the front?

I got my sports grip 10 days ago or so and have been very happy overall. The fit seems to be good and i don't feel that even me and my tendency to toss things about will be able to dislodge the shuffle from its rubber.
My reaction to anything is very skewed in a good way i feel by me being a Industrial Design student. This brings into play my understanding of the various processes and my own very strong sense of design in the view of others peoples. I feel like in the long run it makes my really love what i love and really dislike what i dislike. All good.
A few notes:
•I would have liked to have seen the parting seem from the mold a little cleaner.
•Yes the back is open similar to the front sans the cutouts for the control buttons.
I would have made the bottom part that covers the cap come up a bit farther, so that it both better covered that seam between the cap and the shuffle main body and that on the back side it covered up the "small print" from Apple resulting in a cleaner look. 1/4 in would have been more than sufficient.
•I personally like the part time use of a lanyard, and also love the ease of the carabiner. Why not let me easily use both? By making the case longer to consider the shape of the lanyard cap and designing a carabiner attachment that made use of the existing holes of that cap, it would allow people to swap back and forth between them and always use the case. (btw I have replaced my lanyard cord so that i now have one that is removable, this would be i must for this idea)
•Would be nice to have a caribiner of a matching color to my case or the shuffle itself. I got a few colors of SportGrip (red, grey, white) and thought it would have been a nice easy touch to color match them with already existing caribiners on the market, they are certainly out there.
Over all I feel like my shuffle is well protected and don't really wish that it covered more of the body, the balance is nice how it is. (except note above)
The rubber seems to be of a good flexible quality that is ridged enough to keeps it for and handles dirt well.
Special kudos for a strong rich red color, nice to see.

PS I have another Marware (TrailVue) case for my U2 Pod (that I begged and pleated for off a Expo Floor Booth) and boy these guys seem to really have there stuff figured out.
Very nice and well thought out review. Thank you! And thank you for the feedback, the comments will passed along.

How wide is the opening for the headphones? Is it easy to get the wider aftermarket headphones in ?
Looks like a great case! Any specifics as to why you shouldn't put it on your keychain? I'd love to do that!
