I have a mini dock and the Xrap for the mini - I love it. However, I hate having to take off the Xrap to put the iPod in the dock. I haven't tried this yet, but is it possible to cut a small hole in the button so the connector on the dock can fit in? If you do this, will the mini fit even with the plastic case? I'm assuming that it will because it fits with the Apple armband, which every other case does not, so maybe it will fit into the dock. The only question is whether it will and what I could do so that I don't have to continuously take off the skin to put it in the dock. Thanks!

I don't have it, but from your description it sounds to me like it would work.

Can anyone give me more info on the xrap? Exactly what is it? Does it work with the Apple Clip? Does it leave air bubbles? It's non adhesive? Like.. you can take it on and off? pics and more info would be appreciated. thanks

How's it going? The xrap is an ultra-clear "skin-tight" case for the iPod Mini. If you can navigate through their website, XRAP (http://www.lajo.biz) you will find it eventually. It's not that well organized. I just received mine this afternoon and I have to say that it is pretty awesome. The Mini slides right in and there is a "latch" that goes over the top and sticks to the back using no adhesives whatsoever. I guess it uses static or whatever, and does a pretty good job keeping the Mini inside. It is one of two that I know of that is thin enough to still fit into Apple's belt clip and armband. The other being the MiniSleevz. The build of the case is surprisingly good. I paid $8.50 w/ shipping and the plastic is sturdy and tough. The bottom corners of the Mini are exposed, with the dock connector being covered, The whole top of the iPod is accesible. Also, the click wheel feels like it has more traction and is more responsive with it on.

A few weeks ago, I bought an iSkin for my Mini and thought it was just too thick. It came out to the size of a regular iPod, so I took that off and put one of these babies on. It works perfectly.

I have had difficulty removing XRAP from the Mini. Is there a technique that makes removal easier?

Thanks.
