View Full Version : Comic Relief, Red Nose Day
Hey all, i think this only applies to ppl in UK, as i dont believe comic relief is in any other contries, so any other people dont know what it is.
Its just a huge money raising event every year to support poverty, etc.
I decided when im older i want to move out there, or temportarily live out there and help all the sad, poor kids. it makes me feel so bad when i see them on the tv, so sad and lonely. i really want to make a difference.
I dont like seeing them how they are :(

No, but it just reminds me how lucky we are to have what we have. Everybody forgets, but i dont take things for granted

There hasn't been one for probably about 10 years, but they used to have a show called "Comic Relief" here in the US, too, where the proceeds went to aid the poor. The show was hosted by Robin Williams, Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg and ran once per year for about 8-9 years.

Just the usual stuff, its Jonathon Woth presenting it :p
Havnt really noticed any hilariously funny bits though.
Interesting to here that about the US, strange that they stoppeit, US would raise millions if they stilll did it, if UK can make like 15million or howerever much it usualy gets to

He's given billions.
I heard somewhere he only give like 3% or his money away or something.

3% of all the money he has made in his lifetime would be billions.

How could you forget Little Britain?!
That is one of the only programs i have ever found funny. Jimmy Carr is alright, as is Bo Selecta i suppose. I watched The Office once and thought it was crap, not really my kinda thing.

Little Britain is not bad. Not as good as half of the shows i named though IMO.
