ReplayGain for AAC?

Up until now I have been encoding my CDs to 192 VBR MP3s on my PC using EAC/LAME/MP3Gain with excellent results. However I'm considering encoding my new CDs to AAC format using iTunes 4 on the Mac. Is there a ReplayGain tool for Mac OS X similar to MP3Gain that works on AAC files? I'm not too crazy about iTunes' "Sound Check" feature since I want to actually modify the files. I've read mixed reviews about iVolume. Any input would be appreciated.

iVolume has had mixed results because the iPod firmware makes some bad calculations; the upcoming version 1.2 of iVolume will compensate for that problem (according to a posting by the author at VersionTracker).
