I've been searching up and down for a decent wheel protector for my Mini. It's not the dirt I'm really worries about, it's the scratches. My old mini was all scratched up. Right now I'm just using the clear film that came with the Mini like many others. I came across a 3D Wheel Film (http://powersupportusa.com/products/ipod/lp31_mini.php) and it looks pretty good. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these. Thanks.

Yes, I use the Power Support 3D Wheel Film. It works perfectly. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey at 2 for $12. But I think it's worth it anyway. BTW, they don't charge any additional shipping for that item. They'll send it to you regular mail, in an envelope.

I'm Sold! :D $12 isn't that bad. It's probably worth every penny for a scratch-free click wheel. Plus, I have a buddy who has been looking for a good click wheel cover, so I'll give him the other and we'll just split the total. Free shipping sounds great. How long did it take for you to receive yours? And is the whole underside of the film sticky, or is it just the small round peice that goes on the center button?

I think it took 4 or 5 days for mine to arrive. They're on the west coast and I'm on the east, so it will depend upon where you live.

The whole underside of the film is sticky. They give you a second small piece that you are supposed to attach to the center of the film. This prevents that part from sticking to the center button when you click it.

Oh alright. Waiting for mine to get here in Vegas, so it shouldn't take as long. Thanks again!

You get two for $12. Still pricey but they serve their intended purpose.

I just cut up a screen protector for my palm and use that over the wheel and screen. You can find these really cheap on closeout at CompUSA Radio Shack, OM, OD and other stores.

Is the piece s sticky that it is going to ruin my click wheel if I want to remove it? I don't want any glue-like stuff on the click wheel if I have to remove it.

Another question I have is that I noticed that I am a "Freshman Lounger" I have only been a member for like 2 weeks. What is the requirements for becoming a "Senior Lounger"? Is it only based on time, or knowledge of iPods?

I wouldn't get Powersupport's films. I found they just did not look good - they always had air bubbles and didn't stick very well. I just ended up buying a 12 pack of PDA protectors from an office supply shop. It's much cheaper and sticks better without bubbles.

Hmmm. I don't have any air bubbles in mine and it looks great combined with my Contour Design Showcase.

Alright. I got mine today finally and it turned out pretty nice. I must say that you have to have a little patience and be very careful, because it can easily turn ugly, as my cousin proved when he put his on. There are no English instructions, so it's important that you go on their website if you want step by step instructions. There is a round plastic circle that comes with everything that you must put in the center of the click wheel part underneath to keep it from sticking to the center button. My cousin forget that part and was having problems and had to take it out and put it back on. The whole thing is EXACTLY the same size as the click wheel, edge to edge. Little hairs will tend to stick on the underside if you are not to quick but can be easily taken off with a piece of tape. Everything went perfectly fine and their were no bubbles whatsoever. It also adds a shine to the click wheel which doesn't look bad. The only thing I didn't like was how they had you put tha circle thing on the center button, as you have to put in precisely in the center for it to look good. A pair of tweezers, and a couple tries later, it worked out, but it would have been a lot better if it was made with it already there or if there was no adhesive at all on the center button. Other than that, it's awesome and is worth the money.

I believe so. On their website HERE (http://powersupportusa.com/products/ipod/lp31.php), you can buy a 2-pack for $12 w/ shipping.
