Okay here is a case I made, when I saw this gum at Target. I'm sorry if someone has already made this. Just wanted to post here.

how about cutting a hole on the back of the case so u can access the controls....i guess you would have to flatten the round bottom first.

Haha, kickass!
High fives to everyone who are making the best with what they've got, and in this case, it seems to be in the form of the Altoids cases people have been preying on.
Hey. Sweeeet!
Since I got my iPs I have been racking my brain thinking about the best way to house a shuffle.
Altoids tins of course came to mind. The regular ones are a bit big, the small one is a tad small with the USB cap.
So my small case, which also has a curved back, has been forlornly sitting .
Thanks to your initiative, I think I will experiment with it, using styrofoam.
What did you use to take out the s-s-sharp edges, from the drilling?

my dad makes jewlery for playboy so he has alot of tools. now he uses computers to make models of the jewelry and uses a milling machine to "print" them out, so I'm going to try to make metal case, but i want it to differ from the popular one made by a user on this forum
Sounds great! Keep us posted!
How about one where the USB cap is incorporated, and protected. Holes for lanyard/belt loop clip?

Has anyone had moisture problems with Altoids cases? I was using my shuffle one night, and when I opened the case, there was a great deal of moisture on the shuffle and on the case. Is there anyway to work around this?

Hello
RE: Moisture
If you go from a warm environment (like a house) to a colder environment (like outside), any moisture in the air will condense. This moisture will also stick around for a while after coming back into a warm environment. Perhaps you were in a humid building or such?
cheers!

No, I was using it indoors in a non-humid environment (I live in Canada :D )
I think the heat emitted from the battery caused the condensation. Am I wrong?
