Used firewire dock cable - $12

(from what ive heard these do work with 4th gen ipods as well, I cant confirm it though)

it (dock from 3rd gen) does work but there is like a millimeter gap so it doesn't rest completely securly in the dock.

i might be interested in a firewire cable that fits a 4th GEN 20GB ipod. could u measure the length of the firewire cable for me. it seems like my firewire cable is soo short...it's way shorter in length than the usb cable that came with my ipod (4th gen 20GB one and yes i bought it at an apple store).
