I am sorry to hear this. Did you pay via PayPal? If you did, you can file a claim and get your money back. This seller/user should be banned from ipodlounge. he is a threat to the community and will do this to just enough people to actually turn a good profit.

My guess is that he never had an ipod nor does he intend to sell anything that he lists. Photos look like he owns it? yeah well do a google search and you too can yank images off the internet that look like home photos.

ive been on ebay since 97 and have made numerous purchases through message boards as well and have NEVER had a single problem until this tool came along

i doubt banning him will do any good. i think he hit the board and ran so to speak. he hasnt posted in a month.

i did file a complaint with paypal so we will see what happens

Best of luck to you. I got very firm with him and explained that it was not about my $20, it was the fact that he did what he did. It was a moral undertaking, not a financial one for me. I got my money back, but if you would like any help please let me know.

after filing the dispute with paypal last night i received a full refund of my money this morning

funny how he ignored my emails for weeks but as soon as he gets one from paypal . . .

anyway this issue is closed and i seriously doubt ill do business on this board again.
