I dig 'em all, pretty much, except opera and house/techno music. But within genres, there's sub-genres of stuff I don't like. For example, with Country, I'm all about some Lyle Lovett or Johnny Cash or Steve Earle or Emmylou Harris, (and the Dixie Chicks have their moments), but that poppy stuff - Darryl Worley and Tim McGraw - ick.

Hmmm there are so many to choose from. If I look in my music collection I'd have to say Punk is my fav. Then again there are always those guilty pleasures like a Kylie Minogue song or two... Can't tell my friends about those though ;)

That's the most realistic thing I have heard all week! I am right there with you man!
As for my fav genre, I'd say rock w/ some pop. I like counry if Im in the mood. Some techno/trance is OK, some is way too bland and repetitive for me.
I mostly listen to electronica and industrial, though some good acid rock goes a long way. ;)

You like country if you're in the mood LikeaFox? Check out http://www.country105.com the best country radio station (commercial country anyway) on the planet. They play a lot of stuff you wouldn't hear on US country radio, namely excellent Canadian acts like Doc Walker. 105 will definitley put you in the right mood for country.;)

Classical rocks on an iPod! It can transend any mood you're in, or any emotion you are feeling or any crap going on in your life at that moment. It is your companion and friend.

Try some BR-549 for a little different take on Country. They do it up pretty nicely.

Classic Rock like The Beatles, Led Zep, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Early Stones, Hendrix and the like.
Although in recent times, I have been obsessed with all things Chris Cornell. And not just bec. of Audioslave, I was into him since Badmotorfinger, and got waaaaay into him beginning with Sunshower. What can I say, the man is a a god.
My main tastes run classic rock (Boston, Styx, Journey, Foghat, etc), country, crooners like Frank Sinatra, 60's bubblegum pop, 70's top 40, a bit of classical, and a bit of Celtic (such as Clannad). The last few months I've gotten into Kirsty MacColl's music pretty heavily. I'm still working on getting the best sound on converting my old LP's to MP3 to put on my iPod.

all sorts.
depending on what i want to hear at a specific moment in time :)
rock to old rap, to blues and even some john denver.
a wide variety is what the ipod should be all about. Since i purchased it, its broadened my limits of listening pleasure :)
