Ipod shuffle help

I purchased a shuffle for my mom and uploaded songs from my mac. she won't change the songs, but will it get screwed up when charging the battery if she has a pc, not a mac? Please advise!!

Shouldn't do.
When she connects it, it should mount itself as a removable drive. As long as she doesn't browse and delete the files she should be OK. Give it a whirl.
