I'm wondering does this mean they're sending me a box to send the old on to them in? if so do i pay for shipping?

also it says if u HAVE BEEN requested to send in proof of purchase send it in i'm not sure if i even have any proof of purchase i probably threw it out so is this telling me they shoud've already asked for it if they wanted it?

heres the email they sent me:

dont worry about shipping. they take care of everything. all you have to do is take the box they send you. open it up, place your iPod in it, tear off a sticker, put it in a postal mail box, wait a week, and they send you a fixed/new ipod...

Apple service is very good and has been like this for years.

Make sure you read the included instructions carefully and keep your receipt.
