I recently sent my iPod to apple because it id somewhat broken, if you shake it you hear pieces dangling from side to side, and a very deep scratch. Is this covered in the warrinty, I bought 3 year warrinty at best buy, and they told me to send it to apple. If so, will they replace it?

It depends whether they determine it was broken because of the user or a manufacturing defect.

you buy an iPod with a warranty from best buy and they have you send it in to apple? thats stupid!!!!!!
i droped my ipod in water and its messed up now. i bought it a few days ago. will the 90 day warrinty cover it?

Well i wouldnt tell them that you dropped it in water. Let it dry out for a few days and see if it works, if it doesnt then just bring it back to the apple store or where ever you purchased it.
