itunes not importing entire song.

I just got a 20gb ipod and installed Windows 2000 sp4 on my computer. After i installed itunes i began importing my cds. itunes will only copy the first 20-25 seconds of some songs. Has anyone else had this problem? it's usually the first song and then random ones throughout the cd. any tips?

Try repairing iTunes (download it & click on repair). If it doesn't help uninstall & reinstall it. Check the Apple support website.
