I'm looking for a new ipod mini for around $160-170 shipped. I'm looking for one of the ones with an 18 hour battery life (I can get the older version for cheaper than $160). Someone who just bought one and maybe decided they hate it....?

post or email me at moe_4eva@hotmail.com

I hope this doesn't sound wrong but you're not going to find anyone here willing to sell a new mini that they bought for $249 for $170 shipped. If they decide they hate it then they can return it. Even if they have a 10% restocking fee they will still get $224 back. Even on ebay these are going for $210 - $260 plus shipping.

I can't blame you for asking but I just don't want you to get your hopes up.

He/she may have been talking about the 4GB mini that is $199 from the Apple store. But however you are right and I agree that nobody will sell you a 6GB mini for $170 when they paid $249. On eBay the old minis are going from $150 to about 170. So if you keep your eye open there you might get a deal.

Actually, I am looking for a NEW 4GB mini, the ones that retail for $199. I can get a student discount that with tax (stupid apple and their taxes....) brings it down to $190 Shipped. I was just curious if anyone had a better deal. Please get your facts straight before you criticize me. I realize no one will sell me a $249 ipod for $170. And just so you know, I can get a used one for $130 shipped that retailed for $249, so actually you can get those for less than I'm asking. But I would like the longer battery life.

No actually I don't. But most online companies ie amazon, ebay, dell etc. don't charge tax if you purchase online. Apple, however, charges state tax, although they don't on itunes which has always baffled me. Do you seriously think I'm that retarted? Dude, I have a business degree.

I'm selling my like-new mini on EBay plus a lot of accessories, if you're interested in saving some money and getting one that is in great condition.

Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=75462&item=5761207817&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Thanks!

WHY DON'T YOU JUST BUY A 2GEN MINI FROM APPLE AND GET THE STUDENT DISCOUNT? WON'T IT BE ABOUT $170.OO. NOT SAYING NO ONE CAN BE TRUSTED BUT THERE ARE SOME SCAMMERS OUT THERE.(NOT YOU ETCESSORIES). JUST BUY A BRAND NEW ONE FROM APPLE. I THINK THAT WOULD BE YOUR BEST BET.

yeah, but apple charges tax. So the total comes out to be $190.

Have you read any of my other posts. I know all the specifics. I've already been falsely criticized for it because people don't think that I understand simple concepts like the world is round and ipods cost money.

Oh, and nice way to sneak in your ad there about the pink mini, but being a guy and wanting a 2g mini, as I explicitly stated, I don't want it.
