Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I am ripping my cd collection in to mp3s using musicmatch. After listening to the mp3 end product, I noticed that at the end of each song there's a 4 or 6 seconds silence gap, which part of the song. Is there any way to "tell"/configure MM, so it stops recording/ripping after 1 or 2 seconds of silence?
I have looked in MM Options but I cant find anything that I think it could make it do what I want.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any way to do that in MMJB, but there's freeware that will take care of it.
I use MP3 Trim. It's free, and you can use it to trim the beginning or end of an MP3, as well as add fade-ins or fade-outs. The counter also works with WINAMP, so you can play the song in winamp, then just click in MP3Trim when you hear your stopping point (the end of the song in your case).
