Ok, I have a 20gb iPod and am trying to figure out the best way to start using the newly-supported MP4 format. For my first test I did the following:
1. Ripped a CD to MP4 with dbPowerAmp (SLOWLY and with lots of GPFs but it seemed to work)
2. Changed all extensions to M4P (what?) so the EphPod would see the files (this seems dippy to me)
3. Transferred the files into EphPod and then fixed all of the botched tags (ugh)
4. Loaded files to the iPod (sounds fine and the tags are right!)
What a pain! There has to be a better way, right? Yes, I will wait until iTunes for Windows but what is the best method until that day?
