can this be done using this program? i've been looking but i can't find it. If it can be done, please help me. If it CAN'T be done, please tell, so i can stop looking everywhere. Thanks

No, I'm afraid you can't do it using EphPod.
What you want to get is Exact Audio Copy (EAC) - using this and LAME (there's a thread somewhere that explains all of this - try searching the forums). This will rip the CD, and turn the tracks into MP3 format.
Then you can use EphPod to put them on your iPod.
I find this program the most useful:

It rips the cd, and converts the file to mp3 (or whatever file you want) at the same time, and it does it very quickly too (its the fastest ripper/converter out there). It's free too, so don't bother looking for a program that you have to buy.
