Stock Earbuds vs Sennheiser MX400

Are the Sennheiser MX400 worth $40 Canadian?? I really find that $40 for a pair of earbuds expensive but if these Sennheiser MX400 are better than the apple stock earbuds i'll buy them. Are the Sennheiser MX400 earbuds really that much better?
