Mazda IPOD question [Archive]

i have a mazda 2005 3 s with the 6 -cd changer... i'm thinking of instaling my ipod but not sure how to go about it, anyone who has a mazda or done a similar project any help would be appreciated as to how to go about this. thanks

Is it an in-dash changer? If so, I don't think there's anything you can do with the factory head unit except a solution involving FM: either an FM modulator (recommended) or an FM transmitter.

It's possible if the head unit is satellite-ready that there's an input that could be used for an iPod.

Ok thanks... i checked my maual to see if they said but it didnt have anything, does anyone know if theres a web site that has a list of factory radios and if they have an input or not?
