Is there a proper way to turn it off?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if there is a proper way to turn off the shuffle.

Do you:

a) Pause and then turn it off?
b) Turn it off in the middle of a song?
c) Wait for the song to end, and then turn it off?

Thanks in advance, I just want to make sure I am doing nothing to...decrease the quality of my new toy/player!

I just always push the switch to the top. I have encountered no problems yet.

Well if you want your Ipod Shuffle to last a long time just pause it then wait like 5 sec. then you can carefully switch it to off.

Hope this helps =) Care to state why? It sounds an awful lot like saying, 'tip it to 35 degrees off horizontal to make it work better'. I.e. there isn't any apparent reason why your vague statement makes sense.

I pause the track and then slide the switch to off.

pause and off or sometimes i just dont put it off and it sleeps.
