Hi, I wanted to know if it's possible to paint black earphones wires white. Has anyone done it and if so, what supplies and techique did they use?
Thanks.

Lol. Sounds interesting. Why not use a spray-paint? Wouldn't normal paint just come off?

it seems like the paint would flake off if you move the wires around

I would think that after a short while it would start to chip, but maybe if you could find some liquid white latex type of paint it may last a little longer.

it wouldn't chip if you spray painted it and then clear-coated the cra out of it... but i don't know how that would turn out...

Lol, you could try that on a test wire of some sort. And if it works do it on your earphones. You'd have to be quite careful though.

Ok, I just received my Shure E2c's (took forEVER). These things are huge and ugly, LOL! Seems my left ear is horribly deformed because it can't even accomadate the smallest of foamies... :(
Anyway, I really want to paint the cords. Can anyone suggest an actual product that I can use. I'll first try it on an old pair of black headphones, of course. :)
