I currently use an iTrip, and think it's a great solution for some situations. But I'd like to have a dedicated hard line connection for my iPod while in my car.
I drive a 2003 Infiniti QX4. This was made before they had Sat/Rad buttons on the factory Infiniti Bose sound system, with an aux. input in the back. This means my only option is to use an FM Modulator, and a flipper switch under my dash to jump over to my iPod. (I'd also make a Dock w/ charger linked to a Belkin charger w/ line out for my iPod, as an added plus)
My question: Will this ~$150-180 conversion be a substantial, noticeable increase in output? I wanted to hear confirmation from someone using an FM modulator and knew I'd be able to find one here.
Also, if there does happen to exist an alternative, I'd be overjoyed to find out about it.
Thanks for all ya'lls help and I'm quit impressed with all the different solutions I've seen thus far.
