They accidentally went through 1 washing machine and gas dryer cycle! after untangling them I tested them and they worked perfectly!. Too bad I cant find one of the rubber earbuds. New ones are costing me $10.00 plus shipping. Pretty tough earphones.

I washed my apple in-ears. The wire stripped in the dryer. I taped it up with electrical tape and they still worked. The white cable tho -- is permanently twisted.

were did u find the the rubber earbuds at. mine got lost to.

the rubber buds were in the pocket with the earphones so I did not have to replace them. What size are you looking for? We can do a trade or something. I have the sony's too. I just need to keep the mediums.

Just chiming in: I washed my MDR-EX71's as well with no damage. I thought they would be totally ruined, but they made it w/o a hitch.
