FM Modulator with Ipod/Sirius

I am gettin an fm modulator installed into my Pathfinder for my sirius radio, will I be able to also use the fm modulator for the ipod?

Not without disconnecting the Sirius receiver or putting in an audio switch box when you have it installed.

is the plug to plug your ipod into the fm modulator just like an earphones plug or a tape cassete

I think most FM modulators have RCA jacks like on a home stereo. So, you'd need a cable with a stereo mini plug on one end (to go into the iPod) and two RCA plugs on the other end. You can find an RCA switch box at most electronics retailers.
