Thos little sponge covers that come with the earbuds are so stupid! They fall off all the time. Put your ipod in your pocket and then take it out later to listen and notice one has fallen off again! Dam these things don't stay on. Has anyone found a trick that keep them on better? Luckily I havent lost one yet but I can see it happening pretty easy.

The covers work well in keeping them in. without the covers the earbuds are too smooth an fall out. I was thinking of a little piece of two sided tape or something to keep them on better.

Someone mentioned on another board to cover the earbuds with the Jabra gels that some in sm/med/large. I found a 6-pack at Radio Shack for $7, and they work great. You have to stretch them a little to get around, but they really stay in my ears now and you can wash them.

Dude, thanks for the tip! Ever since I've been using the Apple buds, I've thought a Jabra-type cover for them would be awesome. I never thought to try the actual Jabra ones with them. I'll be trying them as soon as I get home. :)

Actually, I'm a "dudette" .... guess you can't tell from the info though. The pack I bought at Radio Shack had the clear Jabras (some are in colors). Also, they were in the cell phone headset area, not the stereo headset section. Radio Shack also had those fold up speakers for $9 versus the $26 I've seen online. They work pretty good for a small area. On the Jabras, I used the smalls, my husband took the mediums, and my boss took the large pair. Everyone loves them! Good luck...

Actually a lot of people use them. I used them until I recently got a pair of Sony's. Then I realized that the Apple ones weren't all that great. But they sounded good if you haven't used anything else.

I'm sorry. Thank you "dudette"! :)

I have a Jabra headset for my cell phone, it just never occurred to me to "marry" the two. I popped them on my buds last night and have been using them all day at work today. They are much more comfortable than before, though I still think I'm going to look around for some phones I like better. But I still have to go out and buy gells because now my Jabra is naked. ;)

Ahh well i dont have this problem my sister refuses to buy some new headphones for hers even though the sponge covers fall off and they dont even fit in her ears. As soon as i have mine i should also have some gorgeous Audio-Technica ATH-EM7 headphones. But my advice buy some new headphones.

I hear ya. I used to have hair down past my shoulders. After hiking or camping I would find little twigs and burs in my hair.:D
