The Arkon mounts should hold an iPod in a silicone case.

If you are referring to the TuneDock, it will not hold my iPod when it is in my Contour Showcase. The TuneDock is "form-fitted" with a suction cup on to hold it in the stand. It might work with some of the skins, but I'm not sure as I don't own any. I'm not that impressed with mine so I am making a Contour compatible holder for my truck.

If you do get the TuneDock, go to TheNerds.net. I got my TuneDock there for way less than the $39 at Circuit City or Best Buy.

Another option would be to get a case that also can act as a mount like th Xtremity case by Xtrememac.com .

I will post photos of my installation later this evening.

Here are the photos of the iPod in my car. Again, I am using the Xtremity case by XtremeMac.com . This case comes with a dash mount attachment as well as a belt clip. You never need to remove the iPod from its case when moving from the car to your belt. Although I have it removed in the photos the Xtremity case also comes with a clear hard plastic flip cover for the front of the iPod.
