I want to have three ipods on display at the next trade show we do, so that folks can listen to the music we sell. However, anything at a trade show that isn't locked and nailed down gets stolen. I have been looking for a way to lock an ipod to prevent someone from walking away with it, but so far have been unsuccessful.

There is a company that made something called a "Secure Habitat" but I contacted the company directly and they have not responded and appear to be out of business (their order section doesn't exist any more). I can't find Secure Habitats for sale at any ipod store.

Does anyone have any better ideas? Will laptop locks work with an ipod? Do you know what the Apple Stores do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

We use laptop/pc locks that use adhesive and cables. For locking down drawing tablets, zip drives, printers, etc. I can't rmember where we bought them though

you could also go to a Mac store and see how they lock theirs if there is one near you or call/email a Mac store and ask the manager or something

maybe something like this? http://www.labsafety.com/store/product_group.asp?dept_id=33838&parent_id=418

there are several companies that make these, so have fun googling
