I want to hook an ipod up to a Nakamichi CD-45z head unit, which has direct connection AUX input on the back. What pieces to i need to plug the ipod directly into the back of the head unit? What sort of connector is on the back? If it's two RCA jacks, you need a cable with a stereo mini plug on one end and RCA plugs on the other. If it's a mini jack, you need a cable with stereo mini plugs on both ends.

Patience is a virtue... The Belkin car unit with the audio output will do the job, same with the sik car adapter. Go to www.belkin.com or www.sik.com I just got the sik car adapter and it is a true line-out and has excelent quality. You will need a cord that has a stereo mini plug on one and on the other end it has Right and Left RCA plugs. If you want quality Monster makes this cable, it is like $20 but a $5 one from your local electronics store will do the same thing.
Germany, I would move there just to see Rammstein 100 times a year.

I use the stereo to RCA cable by Monster Cables to go into my Aux input on my deck. I ran them underneath the carpet and into my console.
