Contour Showcase + Monster's iCarPlay?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question.. I'm really thinking about getting a Contour Showcase, but I'm not sure if it will work with Monster's iCarPlay.. I've seen complaints about Monster's dock connectors being too large to work with other cases, so I'm wondering just how large the opening is for the port on the bottom..

If possible, could someone please post a picture of the bottom (can't find any online), or just let me know if they've had experience with this?

I don't have an iCarPlay, but I do have the Showcase. The Shure E3 canalphones I use appear to have a similarly sized plug molding. Works fine with the case. If it turns out that the opening is too small you can dremmel/file it ever so slightly with ease. Others have done this to their Showcases in order to fit various accessories with success. Hopefully someone who has both can better confirm whether or not there's an issue for you.

btw, the iCarPlay plugs into the headphone jack of the iPod, not the bottom connector.

Actually, I've had the iCarPlay for about 3 weeks, I'm fairly sure it plugs into the bottom. ;)

Thanks for the reply, but I guess I'm not really worried about it, since it doesn't look to be that hard to get the iPod out of the case.
