DIY Ipod shuffle armband

I was a little taken a back by the apple armband for the ips. It is grossly expensive for its size and materials, and it takes 5-7 freakin weeks before it ships. Apple should really get their act together and make enough of their products (lol), I had to buy my shuffle on ebay. Anyway I bought my shuffle as an everyday ipod and a jogging companion.
I went to my local NIke Outlet store and bought a cheapie headband.

I found some leather scraps lying around the house

I have some marginal sewing ability so I sewed a sleeve/pocket to the headband, and I had a ips armband.

Note: My bicep is about 17 inches around and I wear it over my sleeve so it doesn't slip

I know it isn't quite polished or pretty but it beats the hell out of duck tape.

its alright i guess. but ur right the armband is freakin expensive. i just slip it under my sweat band

pretty good idea, I just wanted something more secure, plus my local Nike outlet store only had wrist and headband, no friggin armabands. oh well I guess that's what you get when you live in hickville
