3g iPod install in a 2003 Honda Accord?

Has anyone managed a clean install of a 3g ipod in a 2003 Honda Accord? I'd love to hook into the auxiliary input on the stereo but I believe its complicated because the stereo and heating system are intertwined. Thanks. Rich

This Honda parts company has PDF files of all installation instructions. This file shows the install of a CD-Changer
into the 2003 Accord. You can use this as reference to
pull out the storage compartment below the stock head unit:

I haven't installed this thing yet, so I can't give you anything more than the above. However, through searching the web, people have been saying that they are getting some humming noise when the engine is on. This is usually because of a a bad ground. Check this link for more details:
