By "wireless" do you mean "works on battery power" or "I don't have to plug my iPod/iBook into the speakers"?
Eeeee, I can remember when t'wireless was a big wooden case thing with glowing valves in the back, that sat int corner of 'e parlour, and we used to listen t' The Clitheroe Kid...............:D

I have the Advent 820s as well and I also love them, but I would be hard pressed to refer to them as truly wireless.
The transmitter unit has to be plugged into an AC outlet. The speakers themselves also require an AC outlet, unless you constantly have an enormous quantity of freshly charged C-Cells on hand.
They are wonderful for use around the house or on the patio in the summertime.
On a camping trip or picnic, you would have a hard time finding a way to use them.

If you wanna go round the home with the wireless speakers, then it would be better if you pick the speakers that has to be plugged to a power socket. This gives a long run. If you go to the battery operated speakers, they'll sun out in few minutes and you have to keep charging the batteries again (Double the work).
