I have a headache from searching the forum for podcasting help. I there a Podcasting for Dummies available? I'm not looking to make podcasts, I just want to listen to them. Can someone suggest some user-friendly software? I have found some sources for shows but I 'd love to hear some suggestions.

thanks,

RC

Here is a thread with info:

You can type 'podcasting' in the search area and only the threads containing that info will appear instead of searching through threads.

Also you can read this info:

Thanks for that. Just one more dumb question, do you know if I have to use iTunes with iPodder? Not a big fan.

thanks,

RC

iPodder (and all podcast aggregators) will download the audio files directly to your hard drive. What you do with them from there is up to you - you don't have to use iTunes to handle them.

you may have already found what you need, but i wrote a post recently on my blog with a run down of the info i've gathered. i'm also considering starting up a podcast of my own, but we'll see.
