Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Apologies for the misleading title - I shall try to explain:

This Sunday I am due to jet off on a round the world trip (Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and The US). Very kindly my parents have bought me a 60GB iPod Photo (:D) which I will be taking with me, but weren't able to find a case for it other than the one supplied in the box.

So, to cut to the chase, I need a case which will:

- fit the 60GB iPod (there don't appear to be many...)
- protect it as much as possible
- not be too heavy or brittle
- be delivered to me using next day delivery (if I order tomorrow, I'll need it before I leave on Sunday)

If anybody can recommend a specific case and a seller who will be able to ship the case to me asap (I'm live in the UK) I'd be extremely grateful!

I'm aware that these type of threads are extremely annoying (hence the thread title - I'm asking for a lot, hopefully even the smallest piece of information could head me down the right track), and that I should just do a search (which I have done), but given the extremely short time frame I have I was hoping that you guys could help me.

Thanks!

Andy.

I would suggest the Contour Design 4G Showcase (I think it is compatible with the photo) - but if you're leaving Sunday you will be hard pressed to get anything that quick.
Now I would suggest going to your local camera store and getting a cheapish camera case for now then try and pick something up on your travels.
I used a LowePro D-RES 100 PDA case for a longtime for my 1G iPod - it cost me £9.99 and was a good compromise until I found the case I wanted. You have the supplied case which while not great will do the job for now.

Try Apple Online Store?

Thanks Bob :)

I've decided to 'borrow' one of the iPod socks I bought for my sister at Christmas. I'll try to find something more substantial on my travels.

The recommendation of the camera case is a good one, and definitely food for thought :)
