Hi All, I have just bought the iPod remote from my local apple store. I was just wondering if the cable on the headphones supplied with the remote is shorter than the original headphones you get with the iPod?

Nope, they're standard iPod earbuds.
Which makes the total cord length roughly equal to the length of an American football field.

lol, fantastic.... just what you need. Doe anyone have any suggestions on how to reduce the total cable length?

Use short-cord earphones (Anything with an SL or SP in the product code from Sony)
