I hate to make a new thread asking for suggestions on iPod cases, seeing as how there are a number of others, but I felt I'd get better attention than just posting in another thread.

I got a 4G 20GB iPod for Christmas, and my parents went ahead and bought a carrying case to go along with it as well. They got me the Belkin Leather Flip Case (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=201526&pcount=&Product_Id=156257) at Best Buy. At first I liked it, because it was something to put my iPod in. Then, I realize that the case doesn't really do anything to protect the corners of the iPod (I already have scuff marks on the beautiful white finish on the top corners :(), and I decided I needed to get something new. Besides, I'll be doing a lot of traveling within the coming months, and I want to make sure my iPod is safe-guarded to the extreme.

Because I'll be traveling, I wanted to have a case to include my iPod, plus all of my accessories. I noticed the Monster iCase Travel Pack (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=T8702LL/A), but soon realized that it wasn't compatible with 4G Click Wheel iPods. Then, I saw the Incase Travel Kit (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=TB043LL/A), compatible with all iPods.

I figured this would fit the bill, as far as toting around all of my accessories and iPod was concerned. However, I also noticed those iSkins, and I really like them. I also looked at the Case reviews on the site, and I'm particularly interested in an aluminum case.

Anyways, could I get some suggestions on some case ideas for my iPod? I'd greatly appreciate it.

I recommend skins, and a leather case that will fit a skinned iPod.

I went and bought some exo2fb skins from www.lajo.biz and a leather case, and I think it provides the best protection short of a hard case. (Which I hate)

Here's a picture:

I couldn't be happier. :)

That actually doesn't look too bad. If I got an iSkin to go with a leather case, I'd probably go with a black (I think the actual name is Ebony) iSkin. That Belkin Leather Flip Case I'm currently using is just too bulky.

 :p

i got an lajo exo3x case. it offers a very nice protection for 10 bucks. i think that case itself is good enough, you don't need to spend another 25-35 bucks on a leather outer case. just buy an oakley sunglasses pouch and you're good to go.

I paid less for that leather case, though.

I found these products called Podsleevz (http://www.radtech.us/Products/Podsleevz.aspx#) at www.radtech.us.

I really like how they look, and it seems like the protect all of the iPod, except for the very top. I might just buy a Podsleev in black and then buy a new leather case or something to put it in.
