hello all.
i am having problems connecting my ipod to my pc laptop running win2k. when i plug my ipod into the unpowered firewire card, the ipod displays a checkmark saying "OK to disconnect" below it. This also happens when I put the ipod into firewire disk mode and plug it in.
Also, in the windows device manager, a yellow exclamation appears in the pcmcia section after i plug in the ipod. however, there is no exclamation when the ipod is not plugged in.
the ipod did connect once. the first time i ever plugged it in, it appeared as a drive in my computer. when i clicked on it, my computer crashed with a blue screen. it hasnt connected since then.
please help! my ipod and i will be forever grateful!
